Sparks Returning to GOSSIP GIRL

Are you ready for a Gossip Girl shocker! You had better sit down. The good word is Georgina Sparks is ready for a comeback! Yikes! Read on and you’ll get the yummy spoilers, too!

All she ever does is cause loads of trouble, but at least sparks isn’t boring. Actress Michelle Trachtenberg is returning to the CW set of Gossip Girl for another round. In fact, fans will get to enjoy Sparks in what the TV Line exclusive called “a sizeable arc.” And their source is series executive producer Josh Safran.

When is the momentous occasion? It happens on the show’s milestone 100th episode, revealed Safran. And it is scheduled to air very early next year, so the wait won’t be too long. You can expect that the storyline she’s involved in will be something totally shiny and new. In fact, there hasn’t been anything quite like it on the show to date. Of course, little has changed that makes Georgina, well, Georgina, but Safran suggests a “new direction” is coming for her character. Can you stand it? Way to leave us guessing.

You will recall that as of the Season 4 finale, Sparks is married and a mother, too. Playing the good wife is too dull for her, though. That’s for sure. Remember how well she took to Charlie all of a sudden? But during her absence from the series, Charlie has new news! Won’t that make for an interesting reunion!?
