The scoop on SPARTACUS: VENGEANCE

It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten to talk about something regarding Spartacus: Vengeance. I’m not embarrassed to admit I’ve felt a little lonely without the presence of a new Spartacus scoop. However, why have one when you could have three? Spartacus had itself a triple day of news items and I’m going to talk about all of them! Where should we start first? How about the most important thing of all: the return date.
EW.com broke the news of Spartacus: Vengeance premiering Friday, January 27 at 10 p.m. The story will pick up just a few weeks after the first season finale with Capua in a state of disorder and the gladiators unsure of their next move. Not a bad way to start a season if ask me. You can have so much fun with chaos. To accompany the premiere announcement are the two other news items; a poster (featured above) and a video of the cast and crew talking about what is to come in Spartacus: Vengeance.
I believe the poster speaks for itself. Spartacus is bloody, dirty and looks pretty pissed off. There’s a battle going on behind him. Not much else to say about it. The video on the other hand is quite informative. It focuses on the Brotherhood and we get a large number of people, including Spartacus himself (Liam McIntyre) talking about how the gladiators will deal with their situation. Spartacus falls in to a role of leadership, but he doesn’t go unchallenged. There are those who feel they could be a better leader, but at the same time they all realize they must stay united. Oh, and there’s tons of footage of people being killed.
