Toon Justin Bieber with Santa

If you have yet to check out some tracks from Justin Bieber’s exciting and festive holiday album, then today’s music video will allow you to taste what you are missing. Is the album for you? Have a listen because “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. That’s the track this animated video is for, from the album, Under the Mistletoe. There’s time to put the CD on your wishlist, dontcha know.

The fun video will be sentimental for many viewers as it spoofs infamous holiday cartoons like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the Christmas movie of yore. In Bieber’s take, the Canadian singer helps Santa to deliver toys.

This isn’t the only version of the “Coming to Town” video you are likely to see. I hear another, similar video is in the works that will feature a live action Bieber, a la Cool World or Roger Rabbit. That one will be seen by moviegoers on the big screen preceding screenings of animated movie, Arthur Christmas, coming November 23rd.

I’m not sure how the statisticians do it, but an Ace Hollywood report estimated “Under the Mistletoe,” which was officially released back on Nov. 1st, would debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 by selling somewhere between 200,000 and 225,000 copies.
