TRUE BLOOD Season 5 Adds Two Werewolves

Things are getting a little furrier on HBO’s True Blood as two new werewolves travel to Bon Temps, and each will be shaking things up in their own way.

Kelly Overton (The Ring Two) will be showing up during Season 5 of True Blood as Rikki, a “dirty, beautiful werewolf” that’s determined to discover what happened to pack leader Marcus. It’s just a guess, but I’m thinking she’s not going to be too thrilled when she finds out why Marcus is no longer in the picture. Deadline reports that Overton is initially scheduled for six episodes but there’s an option for her to return as a series regular.

Louis Herthum (The Last Exorcism) is also making an appearance during Season 5 as a “particularly large Marine-type werewolf” that doesn’t plan on accepting a new pack leader. Herthum is set for five episodes during Season 5, but he also has a chance to show up again as a regular character.

Hmmmm… one wolf looking to find out what happened to the old leader while another wolf doesn’t accept the new leader? Is it possible these two might form an alliance that will almost definitely stir up the werewolf community? I don’t know if Overton and Herthum will be making their guest appearances at the same time, but that would be interesting.
