The Amazing Spider-Man – Cornering The Untold Story

Hold on to your butts, Spider-Man fans, do we have some poster art for you today! whether you were disappointed that Mr. Tobey Maguire would no longer serve as your Hollywood wall crawler, or not, you have to admit this fresh new poster for the upcoming Spider-Man reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man, looks very sweet.

That’s Social Network actor Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, high up on a dark wall and casting a pretty incredible shadow. The tagline promises we will get an untold version of the familiar comic book tale and that will happen July 3rd, 2012, in 3D.

You can expect to see Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field joining Garfield on the big screen. Stone is Gwen Stacey, not Mary Jane Watson. And Ifans is Dr. Curt Connors. That means you can probably guess who our villain might be. I’ll give you a hint. He has scales instead of skin! Chris Zylka will be the familiar Flash Thompson.

The Amazing Spider-Man comes from Columbia Pictures and is directed by Marc Webb. Nope, we’re not kidding. That’s Marc’s real name! He was also behind (500) Days of Summer.
