Catwoman, Batman and Bane in Dark Knight Rises Teasers

Who wants to see more pics from The Dark Knight Rises? Everybody does because it’s one of the hottest films on the horizon, and a few of these new still images show why.

A few of these shots were in Empire magazine, and some low-res scans made their way to the web, but these lovely things from Collider are the real deal so you can check out all the character detail while waiting for TDKR to hit the big screen. Don’t study the photo of Anne Hathaway as a leather-clad Selina Kyle for too long or you might go blind.

In addition to the new Catwoman, we have a shot of Batman taking aim with a cool new toy and one with him looking tough on the BatPod. He does seem to always get all the fun new gadgets, doesn’t he? I’m wondering what that fancy firearm does because it looks all kinds of wicked. Of course, the person that’s expected to really make this film stand out from the previous two is Tom Hardy’s Bane so we have a few shots of the muscular mastermind striking a pose. Personally, I wish Christopher Nolan had borrowed more from the comic book Bane but this big screen version doesn’t look too bad.

Speaking of Nolan, we even have a shot of him doing the director thing, complete with solid white background so you can focus on how awesome he is. Come on, now. I know it looks like he’s working but this has to be a staged shot, doesn’t it? It just strikes me as being a little too perfect. That’s not a bad thing, though. Nolan has done a great job of bringing Batman back from near-extinction on the big screen so he deserves a minute or two in the spotlight.
