DEXTER Season 6 Finale teasers

In what I can only assume is an attempt to garner my specific attention (just kidding guys, no vanity up in here!), Showtime has distributed two new teasers for Dexter’s Season 6 finale. This is supposed to be a monumental episode for the straining series. Allegedly, “This is the Way the World Ends” is supposed to set up the final two seasons of Dexter. Obviously it’s a little difficult to see how the episode hopes to do that, as it has not aired in its entirety yet. Unfortunately, these two clips offer little in terms of enlightenment.

The first scene we get a look at shows exactly where Travis will abduct Dexter’s son, Harrison. The crazed zealot snatches the innocent child away from his school’s play based on the Noah’s Ark story. Okay, so how exactly am I supposed to believe Travis just waltzed into a religious school and took a child without anyone noticing? Worst supervision ever. Dexter should seriously consider switching schools next season. Find some place with bars on the windows and keycard-only access. Maybe throw in some electric fences surrounding the perimeter for good measure.

Our second clip is a lot less infuriating. It involves Deb and the rest of Miami Metro coming to some conclusions regarding Travis and his next move. Deb figures out the seventh tableau, the lake of fire, has likely been completed and Travis has moved on to something else. They correctly deduce that Travis is heading for something that would substitute for a mountain; a Miami skyscraper. Let’s round up the boys in blue and catch this sonuva bitch!
