Ender’s Game Adds Han Solo and Zombieland Survivor

It hasn’t been a bad year for actor Harrison Ford, has it? The actor forever remembered as Han Solo of Star Wars, as Indiana Jones, and The Fugitive, is about to take on another high profile sci fi role. Yes, Blade Runner‘s Deckard is headed to the set of Ender’s Game. He’s got company, too!

In 2011, Extraordinary Measures, Morning Glory and Cowboys & Aliens were all released to DVD. That means you can give the gift of Mr. Ford for the holidays. Also this year, now that it is winding to a close, will be remembered for the announcement that Ford is ready for Ender’s Game, along side Asa Butterfield as Ender Wiggin, Hailee Steinfeld as Petra Arkanian and Brendan Meyer as Stilson. Variety also said Abigail Breslin will join in.

Breslin is known for being Little Miss Sunshine, for Zombieland and for voice acting in Rango.

Also soon to be spotted on the New Orleans set are actors Aramis Knight, Moises Arias, Jimmy “Jax” Pinchak, Suraj Parthasarathy, Conor Carroll and Khylin Rhambo.

Ford will play Colonel Hyram Graff. It is his responsibility to train the youthful military recruits. Nice! Breslin, on the other hand, is Valentine Wiggin, Ender’s older sister. Steinfeld’s Petra, by the by, is Ender’s most trusted. She has also signed to play Juliet in Carlo Carlei’s adaptation of the classic love story. When we know more, you will, too!
