GAME OF THRONES RPG Look

Been wanting a good look at the Game of Thrones RPG that Cyanide has been working on for years? Well, you’re in luck because we have a few screen caps for you to check out so you can decide for yourself if all the time they’ve put into has been worth it.

The new Game of Thrones RPG puts you in the middle of the action with two brand new characters that haven’t been seen before in either the books or the HBO series. The new blends in well with the familiar because the original story was written under the supervision of Thrones master George R.R. Martin, so you know the story is in good hands, and that just leaves the graphics to worry about.

Judging from these screen caps shared by Kotaku, the visuals are a definite winner, with a dark and foreboding atmosphere that creates a perfect setting for determining the future of the Seven Kingdoms. These images are from the Xbox 360 game, but I don’t think the PS3 graphics will be less spectacular than these.

Game of Thrones is scheduled to be out early 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, so all the bases are covered, regardless of what your preferred platform is. Will you be wielding a sword in Game of Thrones?
