How I Met Your Mother 150 tease

It doesn’t seem like that long ago that How I Met Your Mother reached its 100^th episode, but already the long running series has amassed another 50 and will soon celebrate with its landmark 150^th episode in the next few weeks. On January 16, “46 Minutes” will air and I would like to assume the show will do something to mark the occasion, but if we were to take anything from these lackluster promo images then I wouldn’t get your hopes up.

The images come from TVLine, and as they astutely point out the images show the gang hanging out in their usual place: MacLaren’s Pub. That’s hardly exciting, but knowing HIMYM, they could take a standard setting like MacLaren’s and turn it into a wild ride. Still, I said don’t get your hopes up and I meant it and here’s why: Robin is still dating Kevin (Kal Penn). I do not like him and I know I’m not the only one. Just knowing he’s for sure going to be around until this episode boils my blood. Maybe she’ll break up with him! That would be fantastic.

There isn’t much to really examine from these pictures, so let’s look at the episode title, “46 Minutes”. What do you guys think that could mean? I’m leaning toward thinking it’s the period of time the episode will cover. The entire episode will fill up that 46-minute timeframe and the gang could possibly not leave the bar. Why? Your guess is as good as mine, and my guess has a high probability of being wrong.
