Lea Michelle’s Glee Dads Reveal Stirring

Glee Fox

One-thing Glee fans have latched on to ever since the show’s pilot is the identity of Rachel’s (Lea Michele) two dads. I’m not sure what it is about her having gay parents, but fans want them to be on screen more than anything, and it seems this season they will get their wish.

EW.com broke the news that show has begun looking for the actors needed to play the sought after couple. Interestingly, her parents sort of already appeared on screen. In the pilot there’s a photo (seen above!) of Rachel with two men are presumably her parents. So not only are they gay, but they’re interracial as well. Fantastic! I have to say; I do not understand why fans want Rachel’s parents to appear so freaking badly. I suppose it has to do with seeing who is responsible for raising her to be who she is, but I don’t see that as necessary. A lot of family members are being introduced this season on Glee and it’s all a bit much. We don’t need to know the family of every character that’s ever appeared on the show, but that seems to be what’s happening.

And on that note, rapper Pitbull is being coerced into playing to roll of Santana’s (Naya Rivera) brother. Her mother was also previously cast, and she’ll be played Gloria Estefan. When Chord Overstreet’s Sam returned to the show, we got to meet his parents, and he’s not even a main character!
