People, Taylor Lautner Not Coming Out

People Magazine Taylor Lautner Twilight

Team Jacob can relax because a recent People magazine cover that states Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner is gay has been revealed to be nothing more than a clever fake, although it wasn’t clever enough to avoid being caught before things got too far out of hand.

Sometimes it seems like some people just have too much free time to deal with, which leads some individuals to do dumb things that make no sense. After all, what type of person sits around and thinks, hey, I’m going to power-up Photoshop and create a fake magazine cover that says Taylor Lautner is gay? I think someone might need a life.

The cover has been getting plenty of attention on Twitter and other social media sites but GossipCop recently reported that a rep for People magazine says the cover is a fake. A few eagle-eyed fans of the magazine had reportedly already become suspicious when they recognized the sidebar with the Brad Pitt and Carnie Wilson news as being from a 2006 People cover.

While the magazine is making sure everyone knows the cover is a fake, neither Lautner or his reps have stepped forward to say anything about the fake revelation… which is probably for the best. Why waste time dealing with crap like that? It’s not like the person that dreamed this up deserves any of Lautner’s time.

Did you see the cover when it first started floating around the web? What did you think of the “news”?

It’s called cyberbulling. People have been on this kid’s back since Twilight got big. Who takes it this far to come up with a fake magazine cover?
