Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig in Fincher’s THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO Pics

It’s almost time to celebrate Christmas by going with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and helping to catch a killer of women. The new pics from the movie do a great job of showing some interesting scenes without giving away any plot details.
We have a ton of new photos to show you, courtesy of dragontattoo.com, so kick back, make yourself comfortable, and click through the gallery for some intriguing new peeks at David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. A few of the images have been around before, but the majority of them are brand new, and like I mentioned earlier, you can browse to your heart’s content without worrying about accidentally stumbling across some key detail that will ruin the movie… unless of course you didn’t realize Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig were the main characters. If that’s the case, then I’m afraid the surprise is spoiled.
What I find most interesting about these pics is that some of them are just objects or scenes, with no action whatsoever going on. I’d probably be upset if I scrolled through a gallery of any other film and was welcomed by a tattoo gun laying on the floor, or a hall littered with clothing, or a trio of handcuffs laid out in a row, but it actually fits with the atmosphere of this film. Each image begs to have the mystery solved so they can be put in the proper context. Of course, it can’t all be inanimate objects so we get a few scenes with some of the integral characters too.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo opens December 23, 2011.
