Spartacus Vengeance – Scenes and Words
If you are a fan of Spartacus: Vengeance, that bloody riveting STARZ series, then rejoice, for you have hit the mother load. Yes, there will be a season three, and for that we are sure you are thankful, but today’s update comes in the form of some great art illuminating what we can all expect from season two.
The premier of Spartacus: Vengeance hits us on Friday, January 27th 2012, at 10/9c. This premier has been a long time coming and will mark the first time fans can measure up Australian actor Liam McIntyre in the starring role of Spartacus.
As you can see in today’s line up of images, that come thanks to Collider, there is no reduction in the amount of blood that will be spilled when the series returns. Manly men and sultry women are coming back around for some all new story lines. Whether your favorites are battling for survival, for love or for revenge, there will be no shortage of action this season. And beware, for a new brotherhood is promised to rise.
The center of Spartacus: Vengeance is the gladiator rebellion, which narrowly survived an escape from the House of Batiatus. That was where we were left at the end of Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The new target is to make the Roman Republic quake in their robes. Gaius Claudius Glaber will lead his Roman troops to Capua in hopes of murdering the brotherhood of freed slaves and their leader, Spartacus. You can bet they won’t be squashed easily.
Spartacus will have to face some inner demons. He’ll have the chance to get revenge for his wife or sacrifice in order to keep his brotherhood strong and healthy. Will he act for himself or for his men? More importantly, will you be watching when the series returns to STARZ?
