SUPERNATURAL Dean Gets VAMPIRE DIARIES Lovin’

Supernatural is bringing in a real hotty in the form of former Vampire Diariess star Sara Canning. And if you know Supernatural’s history with super attractive women then you already know she’ll serve a purpose as something either Dean or Sam can lust over. For Canning’s guest spot, she’ll be a girl practically made for Dean (and she is, the writers made her). Here’s hoping she lives through the episode. She already died once as Aunt Jenna on Diaries.

TVLine confirmed Canning would be playing Lydia, who is destined to sleep with Dean in what could be considered to be the best night either of them have, until things take a turn for the worst. Lydia is described, as being “wry, independent, and as fun-loving as Dean” and the two of them ”have a memorable evening that takes an unexpected turn,” which to me means the monster of the week will invite himself to their no-pants party. Why do monsters always have to ruin everything?

I wish there was more to say about the episode, which will be the 13^th in the season. Oh wait, there is. The episode is called “Knocked Up”. Just take a minute and think about what that could mean. I have my fingers crossed this is for real and Dean gets Lydia pregnant. I don’t know why that excites me, but it does. That unexpected turn mentioned before suddenly takes new meaning, but I’m still hoping for a monster of some kind.
