Moses Added to THE KILLING

Mark Moses AMC The Killing ABC Desperate Housewives

Mark Moses is no stranger to drama after hanging around with the ladies of Wisteria Lane on Desperate Housewives but he’ll soon get to be on the right side of the law when he guest stars on AMC’s The Killing.

Moses, who plays Paul Young on Desperate Housewives, is returning to AMC for at least eight episodes of a major story arc in Season 2 of The Killing, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He’ll play Lt. Carlson, a detective assigned to investigate Rosie’s death when he joins the Seattle police department. While there’s no official word on it at the moment, the mention of appearing in “at least” eight episodes hints that Carlson could be hanging around Seattle for even longer as a recurring character. Currently, Moses is wrapping up the final season of ABC’s Housewives and he’ll also be showing up on USA’s Seeking a Friend for the End of the World in 2012.

In addition to guest appearances on Criminal Minds, Covert Affairs, CSI: Miami, Human Target and Castle, Moses has also called AMC home for a little while when he appeared as Herman “Duck” Phillips on Mad Men from 2007 to 2010.

The Killing is set to return to AMC in the spring.
