TWILIGHT’s Ashley Greene New Face of NYC fashion
Ashley Greene is recognized throughout the whole world as The Twilight Saga’s future-seeing Alice Cullen but she’s now becoming known as a fashion icon with her new gig as the face of DKNY.
Alice Cullen has always looked like she stepped out of a fashion magazine and now her real-life alter-ego is getting to put that fashion sense to good use with the new DKNY campaign. While some stars will let their name and face be used to promote just about anything under the sun, whether they actually like the products or not, DKNY and Ashley are a perfect fit for each other. “I’ve always been a fan of the brand,” Greene says, “so I think it’s a really organic fit for me.”
Ashley’s Alice has never got a whole lot of promo love when it came to marketing the Twilight series because Edward and Bella are the top dogs in that world, so she was a little shocked to literally see herself at the center of a major marketing campaign, with huge billboards of her in the middle of Times Square. However, she did mention during the interview that it would be cool for her parents to see the ads when they visited during the holidays, so she has no problem with finally being the center of attention.
