Victoria Justice Gives You Reason

It’s time to take a deep breath, relax, forget about the stress of the day for a moment and give a listen to Victoria Justice in today’s music video. The songwriter, actress and star of the Nickelodeon’s TV series Victorious, plays piano for this track, titled “You’re the Reason”.

She sings, “You might be crazy/ Have I told you lately that I love you/ You’re the reason I’m not afraid to fly.”

If this comforting tune sounds familiar, that might because “You’re the Reason” was heard during season one of Victorious. In an episode called “The Birthweek Song”, characters Andre and Tori composed it for Trina’s birthday. Trina was none too pleased. She wanted an expensive gift, not a creative or meaningful one.

Justice, a big supporter of various charities, really shows her heart for others in this video. She’s surrounded by nature, and just brings such a wholesome message during a season of the year usually inundated with stress and shopping. I gotta say, I kind of like that.

In Victorious, a show that has been nominated for Teen Choice and UK Kids Choice Awards, Justice acts as Tori Vega, a teen who is accepted to the Hollywood Arts High School, only to be surrounded by really talented teens, most of whom are very into the performing arts. Justice has also enjoyed stints on other TV shows such as Gilmore Girls, Everwood and iCarly. “You’re the Reason” isn’t the first track to become popular thanks to Victorious. Other singles have included “All I want is Everything”, “I Want You Back” and “Best Friend’s Brother”.
