American Horror Story Season 2 – Cast Returns?

There’s a lot talk floating around in regards to American Horror Story’s second season and just who might be returning. Unlike your typical serialize television series, which would continue its storyline from one season into the other, thus leaving any lingering questions specifically targeted toward what will happened next, AHS is completely starting over from scratch. Season 2 will have a new setting, new storyline, and new characters, giving it a massively different feel when compared to Season 1.

According to TVLine, casting has begun, with all new actors being sought out. But that doesn’t mean we won’t see a familiar face or two. Supposedly, two or three of the Season 1 cast members will return, but playing different characters. So far we only know that Jessica Lange is considering returning, but no word on who else might come back has surfaced. I have a strong feeling one or both of the teenaged actors will come back; Taissa Farmiga and/or Evan Peters, but that’s assuming only the main cast members will be asked to come back. There’s always the possibility one or two of the recurring actors could be brought returning, maybe even promoted to regulars.

Out of all the actors playing ghosts that milled the halls of Murder House, I can imagine most clearly Kate Mara and Zachary Quinto appearing in Season 2. They were two of the most memorable guest actors and I would be delighted to see them playing different roles. I’m hoping we soon find out who is at least in talks to return. This waiting is killing me.
