BOARDWALK Empire’s Buscemi Back on the Rock

30 Rock NBC

The only more fun than Photoshopping Steve Buscemi’s eyes on to pictures of my friends is watching Buscemi in his more comedic roles, such as the one he has played on 30 Rock in the past. As it turns out, his role as private detective Len Wosniak was so fondly received that he’s being brought back for the February 16th episode of this year. You might be thinking, “What’s Jack need Len to find for him this time.” Well, the circumstances are a little different this time around, with Jack requiring Len’s services for an entirely different scheme.

EW.com reports the zaniness begins after Jack is mugged one night. He finds the local police aren’t being as helpful as he would like considering his connections to Commissioner Ray Kelly. Jack turns to Len to help him put together a private police force specifically purposed to serve the rich. And to ensure their interests are the same their salaries start at $5 million. Holy cow. That’s a lot of money to be a police officer. Suddenly the risk of getting shot doesn’t seem that bad. As long as I’m paid before I have to do any actual police work I think I would take that job. No, I know I would.

Buscemi has appeared multiple times as Len and has even directed an episode the series. This time around he will be guest starring and directing. The last time he directed was the Season 3 episode “Retreat to Move Forward,” which was one of the best episodes of that season. I’m thinking Buscemi stands a good chance of knocking this one out of the park, as an actor and a director.
