I’ve always viewed a show’s final season as the perfect opportunity to start killing off main characters and I believe every show should off at least one person, no matter how beloved they are. Desperate Housewives apparently shares my love of killing characters since it’s been announced someone will be getting the axe long before the series gets to its final episode. The news has me charged with excitement. My favorite part about killing characters off is guessing who it’s going to be.
EW.com reported the news, but gave very few details. At this point we have no idea if the character will be a man or a woman, only that it will for sure be one of the main cast members who draws the short straw. The cast just recently learned of the upcoming death and is likely shooting it as we speak. The episode that features the death will air sometime in March, less than two months from now. Is that enough time for the show’s fans to prepare themselves? And just who could it be? If you anyone has any ideas, please post them in the comments below. Let’s do some detective work on this!
Production for Desperate Housewives’ final season will wrap in late April and we’ve been assured that not all loose ends will be tied up. Wait, what? Yes, I read that right. Executive producer Bob Daily has no intention of ending the show with a nice bow on top. He wants us to think life on Wisteria Lane will go on despite the end of the series. I suppose we can live that.
