Disney’s Finding Nemo 3-D trailer
Nemo, that brightly colored clown fish, is easily one of the most recognizable of children’s characters and now he’s coming to the 3-D format. When it comes to re-releasing classics, Disney is on a roll. The Lion King‘s adventure was re-lived in 3-D, Beauty and the Beast 3-D followed, and now it’s Finding Nemo‘s turn. We’ve got a fresh trailer just for you.
The animated picture opens September 14th. Did you realize that actor Willem Dafoe voices Gill, the yellow and black Moorish Idol fish? Did you even know what type of fish Gill was? Now you know! He returns with your favorites, among whom are Albert Brooks as Marlin; Ellen DeGeneres as Dory; Brad Garrett as the Pufferfish, Bloat; Geoffrey Rush as Nigel the Pelican; Barry Humphries as Bruce the shark; and Eric Bana as Anchor, the Hammerhead.
Pixar originally premiered Nemo in 2-D on May 30, 2003. It won both an Academy Award and Saturn Award for Best Animated Film. Speaking of Saturn Awards, Ellen DeGeneres won one for Best Supporting Actress for voicing the beloved Dory. Even the soundtrack was nominated for the Academy Award for Original Music Score.
