Grimm “Island of Dreams” Introduces Bree Turner

NBC’s Grimm is sending in the foxes for this week’s brand new episode, titled “Island of Dreams,” which will feature actress and Maxim model Bree Turner. The amount of remarks that can be made regarding Miss Turner’s casting and the nature of her character are pretty limited to pointing out how attractive she is, so let’s not beat a dead horse and talk about what we can expect from Turner’s time on Grimm. The actress, who has made guest appearances on Raising Hope and Rules of Engagement, will be playing a supernatural creature. If it weren’t for Grimm, I would say this role is all kinds of bizarre, but Grimm completely changes the definition of bizarre on a weekly basis.

Turner will play Rosalee according to EW.com, a recovering drug addict doing a stand up job of staying clean. She is also a “Fuchsbau,” which is a foxlike creature who functions as an apothecary. Now, apothecaries are essentially old school pharmacists in that they supply physicians with medical materials as well as offering their own medical expertise. Rosalee went looking for work in the real world, but when tragedy strikes she must return to Portland. If you’re wondering what the tragedy that brings her home is then join the club.

“Island of Dreams” won’t be the only episode we’ll see Rosalee in. She will be a recurring character, likely functioning as a medic for Nick and Monroe while they hunt more dangerous creatures. Having someone to tend to your wounds is always a smart idea.
