Friday Night Lights Blind in HOUSE
It amuses me greatly when an actor gets in trouble for dropping information they shouldn’t have on a social networking site. In this case it was Michael B. Jordan spilling the beans on his upcoming guest role on Fox’s House. Thankfully, the situation didn’t seem to cause too much trouble, as it appeared to have been a simple mistake on Jordan’s part. I would be shocked if Fox reacted viciously over the situation. The part isn’t even that amazing.
Jordan posted on his Twitter account early Wednesday that he would appear in the 14th episode of House’s eighth season as a blind patient. Later in the day, the tweet was removed and Jordan instead posted “”My bad @foxbroadcasting. “Now I know never to tweet before the studio approves. hahha #socialnetworkisinsane.” Yes Jordan. It is best to check with Fox before you go announcing things before they do. It’s an honest mistake, but I can’t help but feel Jordan should’ve been able to figure this out. Oh well. It happened and there doesn’t appear to have been any negative repercussions.
Fans of Friday Night Lights should instantly recognize Jordan as quarterback Vince Howard. He also did a stint on Parenthood before getting this gig on House. The popular medical drama is set to return next Monday, Jan 9 with the episode “Better Half.” I am hoping beyond hope that the episode involves someone being cut in half. Whether surgically or accidentally, I just want to see it happen.
