“If/Then” Grey’s Anatomy Promo Images

Are you prepared to travel from one dimension to another and experience an alternate reality in the February 2^nd episode of Grey’s Anatomy? If you answered in the affirmative then my hat is off to you. Often my mind wonders into the territory of “What if?” but given the choice I would never actually change any part of my life. On Grey’s, Meredith ponders long and hard on how her life would be different if just one little thing hadn’t happened: her mother developing Alzheimer’s.

In “If/Then,” life at Seattle Grace has changed drastically in this alternate universe. Because Ellis Grey never had Alzheimer’s, she and husband Richard are loving parents toward Meredith, causing her to be all “bright and shiny” as opposed to her usual unhappy self. Don’t believe me? Just check out the heap of promo images for “If/Then” down below. Do you see how literally bright Meredith looks? That pink shirt could blind a blind person. And what’s that glare? Oh, it’s the engagement ring on Meredith’s finger. In this reality, Meredith is with Alex. Let’s give Alex a big round of applause.

Other differences to be spotted include: Meredith and Christina NOT best friends (her cheery disposition doesn’t mesh with Christina), Bailey isn’t a Nazi, Derek and Addision are still together, Dr. Denman is still alive, and at some point Callie and Owen became a couple. I’m sure there are many more little differences to be spotted when “If/Then” airs Feb. 2^nd.
