James Purefoy Gets Revenge

Revenge ABC

The hunky, former Rome star, James Purefoy, will be gracing our television screens once again in a new role on ABC’s maddeningly addictive new drama, Revenge. When a series casts a man like this you can expect him to be heavily involved in someone’s love life, nothing more or less. And that is exactly what Purefoy will be doing during his time on Revenge: wooing one of the main ladies of the show. He’ll show up in Episode 17 and we should brace ourselves for one heck of a romance.

And who is the lucky lady that will tangle with Purefoy? None other than Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe), Queen of The Hamptons and the series’ villainess, responsible for betraying Emily Thorne’s (Emily VanCamp) father. Stove spoke out on the relationship to The Inside, saying, “She’s going to have a big, passionate love affair.” There’s no word on how long we can expect to have Purejoy on the show, but my guess is at least for three episodes, if not more. Stove also teased that we would get to learn more about Victoria’s past in the next few episodes.

Upcoming on Revenge is William Devane guest starring as Victoria’s Grandpa, who will be a big part to change the game against Conrad (Henry Czerny). Currently the series is shooting Episode 15 with lots of promises of good things to come. As the first season goes by, viewers become more and more engrossed in the soap opera-like plotting of the show, turning it into great must-see-TV.
