The gang at McKinley High gets all wet in the new promo images for Episode 10 of Glee, which is titled Yes/No. Is synchronized swimming really the way to win a girl’s heart? Sam might find out.

We’ve seen a few odd things on Glee since the show first showed up on FOX, but Gleeks will be venturing into uncharted territory when the hit show returns on January 17 because Sam believes he’s discovered the ultimate way to win Mercedes back – joining the McKinley Synchronized Swim Team. Of course, as you can see from the new promo images from TVLine, Sam won’t be the only one slipping into a bathing suit… and just in case that old-fashioned hairstyle throws you off, yes that really is Lea Michele (Rachel) belting out a tune with a big flower in her hair.

What do the words ‘yes’ and ‘no’ have to do with water ballet? Not much, but there’s a lot more than swimming going on here. While Sam is trying to win Mercedes back, Will and Emma might be getting ready to take a walk down the aisle.

Will Mercedes’ love keep Sam afloat or is he destined to be sunk by a broken heart? Sorry, couldn’t resist with all the water around.
