Lea Michele’s 2X GLEE Dads

For Glee‘s Lea Michele the wait is finally over. She can stop guessing which lucky actors will portray her two dads on the set of the Fox hit series. Elton John may not be involved, but we think the picks are still pretty special.

The actress uploaded a new impromptu image of herself along with her freshly cast dads to her Twitter page. That’s Jeff Goldblum on the right, wearing bold purple, and Brian Stokes Mitchell on the left.

Goldblum is a pretty well-known actor. He received a Saturn Award for Best Actor in 1986 for some frightening body horror in The Fly. He was chased by dinosaurs for Jurassic Park. And in 20120 we enjoyed him in Morning Glory. He has an unusual voice and stellar comic timing. He’s also had plenty of experience on Broadway.

As for the other half of the new dynamic duo, Brian Stokes Mitchell is a baritone and multiple Tony Award winning actor. He’s appeared in such well loved shows as Kiss Me Kate and Ragtime. Suffice it to say, he and Lea Michele are old friends.

Lea tweeted about how excited she was to work with her new co-stars and it was really evident by a wide, red lipstick-stained smile in the photo.

Remember, the fathers Berry might get a chance to continue their roles past Glee to a spin-off that could continue the stories or our McKinley High graduating seniors.
