Leighton Meester in Gossip Girl Father And The Bride Promo Pics

It’s still a couple of weeks away, but already we can take a closer look at what’s to come on the 12th episode Gossip Girl‘s fifth season via these recently released promo photos from the CW for “Father and the Bride.” Keen observers will note this Monday, January 23rd episode will be the penultimate hour before the series reaches the milestone 100th episode. “Father and the Bride” will feature all the set up you would expect as Blair does the final preparations for her royal wedding.

But as you can see from the photos, Blair will look to unwind a little before her big day. She throws a bachelorette party, but there is someone scheming behind the scenes to make this one unforgettable night. If I had to guess, I would say they plan to bring in strippers or drugs, but most likely both. Meanwhile, Nate joins forces with an unknown person to gather evidence that would expose the what really caused Blair’s car accident while Serena and Dan pretend to be dating so they can protect someone.

Sounds like one wild ride to me. I wonder what it must be like to live a life where everyday is constant battlefield of lies, betrayal and just drama in general. If I had the kind of problems these young folk do, I would have moved far away from it all. They’re not exactly starving for money. At any point they could fly away to New Zealand and never come back. Problems solved in my opinion.
