MARVEL Vampire Action in BLADE Animated G4 Promo

What animated treat features “light-speed action and ambitious storytelling”? Why, it’s Blade. G4, in conjunction with Marvel, has created an all new anime adventure featuring the half-undead hero. This isn’t a movie, vampire hunter fans, it is a Blade series! We have a spell-binding promo just for you, so check it out. Just watch out for the exploding stake.

Blade is, of course, a Marvel super hero known as a Daywalker. He was born as a half human and half vampire because his mother was bitten while pregnant with him. In this new series, Blade will visit Japan and chase after Deacon Frost, the infamous vampire who killed his mother. Blade will also come across a group known only as “Existence”. The vampire members of this group have been “modified” by Frost. That means even more danger than usual for our hero.

G4′s Blade series includes 12 fresh episodes. It has already debuted on Japanese television back in July through September of last year. The series is directed by Mitsuyuki Masuhara. It is just one piece of the four-part puzzle created by Marvel Comics and Madhouse Studios. The other parts include stories which feature anime versions of Iron Man, Wolverine, and the X-Men. Just in time for the New Year, Blade will premier in the west on January 13th.
