Alcatraz is back tonight after last week’s the first taste of the latest from  J.J. Abrams, but that’s old news, having already having brought you looks from tonight’s episode (“Kit Nelson”, a kidnapper focused former Alcatraz inmate return) last week.  Now, Via our sister-site Criminal Complex we have for your pleasure a look at next week’s episode, titled Alcatraz “Cal Sweeney” which will feature as its villain of the week Eric Johnson, someone Smallville fans may recall, or cultists of the the defunct Flash Gordon show on the then Scifi channel.

I offered my own thought on the premiere of Alcatraz earlier this week and will be tuning in tonight to see if it’s a keeper. next week, Johnson will be playing a returned bank robber for the cast of Sarah Jones, Sam Neill, Jorge Garcia and team basement to tangle with. check out the images and episode summary below. “Cal Sweeney” will air on January 30th on FOX. When a bank robbing criminal (guest star Eric Johnson) returns from the past and things go wrong in the present, Rebecca has to break him out of the hostage-filled bank before people can find out who he is.
