SUPERNATURAL Slice Girls with Sara Canning – Promo Images

Supernatural is on a bit of a break at the moment, but is set to return with new episodes on February 3^rd, beginning with “Slice Girls” which will feature Sara Canning from The Vampire Diaries. The episode is a couple weeks away but The CW has released a few promo images to give us a nice little tease and from the look from the look of things “Slice Girls” will be pretty intense. Just look at all those guns! Poor Sara Canning doesn’t look like she’s being welcomed very well.

To be honest I wouldn’t be all that warm to her either. Dean apparently has a one-night stand with her that ends with her becoming super pregnant. Like supernaturally pregnant. This kid is growing fast and suddenly Dean is faced with being a legit father (though if we’re being honest, all those hook ups in the first few seasons has to mean there’s a bunch of little Deans running around somewhere). Where things get interesting is how the Winchester brothers deal with the situation. The girl Canning is playing is clearly a monster of some kind and Sam thinks she needs to be put down, with the baby as well I’m thinking. Dean is opposed to it, saying he trusts her (and is probably a little blinded from spawning a child). Does this sound familiar?

Sam and Dean were in this situation earlier in the season, with the roles reversed. We should remember Sam sticking up for his friend Amy, who was subsequently murdered by Dean. It should be interesting how the show explores this role reversal in “Slice Girls.”
