Uncle Jack Back on GOSSIP GIRL

Did you miss Uncle Jack? Well, put those tissues away because it’s time for his come back. Yes, Gossip Girl fans, an old friend has returned to the set.

Actor Desmond Harrington has signed a fresh contract and will be returning to his role as Chuck’s kinda scary Uncle Jack. You’ll be reunited with him soon in this current season, which happens to be season five. The update came from our friends over at TV Line.

Fans of Desmond Harrington, and yes, I’m a big one, know that the good looking actor is a regular on Showtime’s Dexter and recently did some filming with Timothy Olyphant on the set of the FX series, Justified. You may have noticed him in the Gossip Girl fall-ender when Uncle Jack’s voice is heard talking on the phone with Liz Hurley’s character Diana. Dun dun dun! But not only will you get see him soon, rather than just hearing him, but it appears that you’ll be seeing plenty of him. He’ll be around to see this season end, in fact.

I must say Harrington really knows how to play the antagonist. That’s one of his strengths. We also learned that Uncle Jack would be helping Chuck unlock some secrets this season. Gossip Girl returns this coming Monday on the CW.
