Nadia Bjorlin, also known as Chloe from Days of Our Lives, has been cast in an upcoming episode of CSI, titled “Malice in Wonderland.” When you use a title that so blatantly references Lewis Carroll I expect to see some serious Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland themes. Those may be hidden at this point to surprise us when the episode airs, because from what we know of Bjorlin’s character nothing screams Lewis Carroll. One can still hope, however slim the chances are.

The news of the casting broke out over Bjorlin’s Twitter. “Malice in Wonderland,” the 18th episode of the season, will see Bjorlin as Crystal Hasselbeck, a con artist in Las Vegas with a talent for messing with the hearts of unsuspecting men. Her main con that nets her all of her money is to get engaged, break things off, and then keep the ring to sell for big bucks. It’s a pretty heartless game to play, and yet somehow she can do it without batting an eyelash. That takes a real heart of ice to pull off. But who knows, maybe she has a guilty conscience.

The CSIs certainly don’t think so. When a series of wedding robberies start popping up, Crystal becomes a suspect. Perhaps her usual games weren’t enough anymore and she needed something more thrilling. I’m willing to bet she has nothing to do with the crimes. Bjorlin recently turned down the opportunity to return to Days of Our Lives to play Chloe again. She has been having a good time on the webseries Venice: The Series.
