FALLING SKIES Season 2 Gets LOST

Lost, Twrry O'Quinn, Falling Skies, TNT

Attention Terry O’Quinn fans, your favorite mystery man is moving on from his work on Lost, with his sights now set on the science fiction drama series, Falling Skies. Let’s hope that the smoke monsters don’t follow him to the set.

TNT is responsible for Falling Skies, which already has a pretty large fan base. It boasts 6.9 million viewers, in fact. Might O’Quinn bring some Lost fans over to the newer series as well? We’ll find out when the series launches into season two this summer.

The John Locke actor has been cast, according to EW, to play a former history professor and the mentor of Noah Wyle’s character, Tom Mason. O’Quinn will appear in a two-episode arc, which will also serve as a season ender. Wow. Season two hasn’t even begun and we’re already talking about it’s end. I hope a season three will follow.

Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks TV deliver the TNT drama, which follows an alien invasion. Season one ended in August and was ten episodes long. Moon Goodblood also stars.

O’Quinn just appeared on Hawaii Five-0. We’ve enjoyed him on Alias, The X-Files and The West Wing. And speaking of Falling Skies, the show’s creator, Robert Rodat, also known for Saving Private Ryan, was recently linked to a Thor 2 script re-write.
