Kim Kardashian Tease Video for “Tree of Strife”

Everybody’s favorite reality television star, Kim Kardashian, has a cameo in next Tuesday’s episode of Last Man Standing, titled “Tree of Strife.” As far as I can tell, her role is limited to a single scene wherein she plays herself. Not exactly the most riveting cameo, but it has a purpose and it serves it well. Unfortunately, the success of the cameo has little to do with Kardashian in my opinion. Any celebrity could have done it and the effect would have been the same.

E! Online had a video of Kardashian’s cameo, which we’ve embedded below. As you can see, Kardashian is making a public appearance in the Last Man Standing universe and Mandy (Molly Ephraim) is waiting in line like a mad animal. I can totally relate to her insane excitement. I get that way every time I see Jensen Ackles strolling through Vancouver. As I said before, Kardashian doesn’t really make the scene. It’s Mandy who owns the screen. Her intense, creepy love for Kim is what’s funny, not Kim herself. You could replace her with Alyson Hannigan and the effect would still be the same. Molly completely embarrasses herself and doesn’t care in the slightest because she’s meeting her idol!

It’s definitely a scene that will get a chuckle out of you. The only problem with it that I can see is that it’s been spoiled. The episode doesn’t air until next week, but we’ve already seen it! I hope Kardashian has another scene we’ve yet to see, otherwise the cameo is now sort of pointless.
