SUPERNATURAL’s Alona Tal Joins CULT

Cult CW

I have some great news for all of you Supernatural fans out there. One of your favorite recurring cast members has signed up to be in one of the CW’s many upcoming pilots, the drama thriller Cult. Many of us know her as Jo Harvelle, the spunky young hunter who died too young in order to save the world from the approaching apocalypse, but her real name is Alona Tal. One of her best features is her face. It’s cute and innocent, and she knows how to use to her looks to her advantage before putting a knife to your throat. Tal can play a nice girl, but she’s just as good at being a bad ass.

She might have a chance to show off her tough side since she’ll be playing a cop on Cult. Well, she’s sort of playing a cop. According to Deadline, her actual role is an actress who is portraying an LAPD detective in a popular television series called Cult. That’s right folks, there’s a show within the show. The best part about this Cult show is the rabid fanbase. The series, brought to us by Warner Bros. TV and Fake Empire, focuses on Skye (Jessica Lucas), a production assistant on Cult who teams up with a journalist blogger to investigate a series of disappearances and a possible murder. It becomes clear the show’s crazy fans are re-creating the crimes they see on Cult.

GOSSIP GIRL Duo Forming a CULT?

This is a great example of some of the out-of-the-box pilots we’re getting this year. Usually only three or four pilots catch my interest, but there has been a string of really intriguing concepts all of a sudden. Cult is one such intriguing concept.
