Want More Emma Watson?

After spending ten years bringing Hermione Granger to life in the Harry Potter franchise, Emma Watson is proving that there can be life after Hogwarts. Recently Watson took the small role of Lucy in the Marilyn Monroe biopic My Week With Marilyn, which had her working alongside Michelle Williams, and Kenneth Branagh.

According to Deadline.com Warner Bros. is reportedly in negotiation with the British actress to play the main character in Your Voice In My Head.  The movie is based on a memoir of the same title, by Emma Forrest who recounts her life with mental illness.  Living in New York City at the age of 22, Forrest realized her quirks had gone beyond eccentricity.   After attempting to commit suicide, she found herself in the chair of an effortlessly optimistic psychiatrist.  When she calls one day to find her psychiatrist had suddenly died Forrest is forced to turn to her writing to survive and regain her footing on her own terms .

Your Voice In My Head will be a big departure for Watson who is only now getting started in Hollywood after the success of her previous eight films.  To top it off , and making it a true Harry Potter reunion, Watson would be working with David Yates who directed the last four Harry Potter films. Naturally, Warner Bros. is keen on bringing Yates back on board for the project.  Riding off the success of  the Potter films, Yates will have a busy schedule as well.  Before working on Your Voice In My Head, he is scheduled to work over at Sony on the film A Reliable Wife.

As for the lead role of the slim and balding psychiatrist in the feature-film, Warner Bros. is reportedly aiming high with the hopes of recruiting the likes of Tom Hanks or George Clooney.

Watson has expanded her career in 2009 by partnering with Burberry as the face of their Autumn/Winter 2009 and Spring/Summer 2010 campaign. Watson has continued her involvement in fashion advertising with her participation in People Tree, a fair trade fashion brand.  Watson worked as the creative advisor for People Tree to create a spring line of clothing which was released in early 2010.  She was also given the Style Icon award from British Elle by Dame Vivienne Westwood.  Furthering her fashion career when she announced that she had been chosen as the face of Lancome in March 2011.

Emma Watson is quickly becoming a young icon in Hollywood.  Following the success of the Harry Potter franchise, Emma will be a hot commodity in upcoming films.  Her ever expanding repertoire will ensure her name will appear on the Hollywood A-List.

Look for her latest film, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower which is in post-production now with a TBD release date in 2012.
