Zooey Deschanel’s Night with a True Blood

As previously reported, True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten visited the set of Fox’s New Girl to do a guest appearance. His role was pretty run of the mill for a sitcom; he’s the attractive guy Zooey Deschanel’s Jess meets and decides to spend the night with. And by spend the night I mean have sex with and then never call him again. And really you couldn’t have picked a better specimen than Kwanten’s Oliver. Like Kwanten, Oliver is handsome to the point of nausea. I’m literally sick to my stomach from looking at his perfectly formed features. Ick.

Seriously, just take a look at Kwanten in these newly released promo images for the upcoming episode. The man is ridiculously good looking. No wonder Jess wants to sleep with him. Of course, this is New Girl. Jess is awkward and cannot help but ruin everything. Though in this case she tries her hardest to make it work. Unfortunately the two of them just have nothing in common besides raging hormones. As you can see in the pictures, they talk, they make out, Oliver eats a sandwich, and Schmidt joins them? What?

As much as I’ve commented on Kwanten’s looks, I cannot ignore Deschanel’s. She looks freaking sexy in these pictures. Like wow. She’s adorable all the time, but rarely sexy. This makes me want this episode to come all the more quickly. By the way, the episode will be Valentine’s Day themed since it’s airing on that magical day (February 14th). In a stroke of genius, the episode is called “Valentine’s Day.”
