American Horror Story Stays Constance
Slowly but surely the cast for Season 2 of American Horror Story is being revealed, letting us know who will be joining Jessica Lange, the delightful actress responsible for bringing the morally ambiguous Constance to life. She was the first returning cast member to be announced and now we safely say four others will come back to participate in the next frightening chapter of American Horror Story. I’ll give you a second to guess who you think they might be before telling you who they are.
Times up! The returning cast for Season 2 is as follows: Sarah Paulson (in Season 1 she played the medium, Billie Dean Howard), Lily Rabe (played the baby craving Nora Montgomery), Even Peters (Constance’s son Tate), and Zachary Quinto (the gay former owner of the Murder House). All of them will be playing brand new characters. The first season’s main characters, the Harmons (played by Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott, and Taissa Farmiga) are not set to return at all, though according to Deadline creator Ryan Murphy believes anyone could pop up at any time.
Season 2 will tell a brand new horror story in a new location, taking place on the East Coast in some type of institution. Jessica Lange will be the main character this time around. Production of the second season is set to begin during the summer, aiming for an October premiere. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed Kate Mara will be a part of the season in some capacity.
