The Seven Devils of Game of Thrones

I just wouldn’t feel my week is complete if there isn’t a new trailer for Game of Thrones Season 2, so thankfully we’re getting another one, with this brand new trailer featuring a killer soundtrack courtesy of “Seven Devils” by Florence and the Machine. With every piece of promo material we get the excitement meter fills up right to the breaking point. It’s only a matter of time before HBO puts out a promo that is so good the world explodes from some kind of hype overload.

To put it simply, you need to sit down, press play on the video below, hit the full screen button and just absorb it. I really couldn’t even begin to analyze everything that is to be seen. There’s new footage mixed with old, but it doesn’t feel reused at all. Every new trailer I think they cannot get any more epic, and every time I’m proven wrong. What I will say is I am most excited for Jon Snow’s storyline that takes place beyond The Wall. The only reason is because of that one gorgeous shot of the frozen land that was shot in Iceland. There’s something about snow and ice that is just so beautiful.

All the characters, old and new, seem to have their work cut out of them, with the Lannisters having the hardest time. Jamie is still prisoner of Robb Stark and Cersei has a spoiled brat for a son acting as king of Westeros. And the fighting! I cannot wait to see the battles. April 1^st is only a month away and I’m beside myself with glee.
