Game of Thrones’ Tyrion to Rememory, and who may Join Emma Watson in Your Voice in My Head? – Casting
The latest and greatest casting news is upon us readers! Fans of Game of Thrones, are you wondering what project you will see your favorite smooth talking Tyrion Lannister actor Peter Dinklage in next? Or if you’re wondering who’s voice it is that Emma Watson will be hearing in Your Voice In My Head, you’ve come to the right place.
Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage is very sought after these days and has a lot of projects on the go. Not only is he a wanted man, script writers are developing projects specifically with Dinklage in mind. One such project is Rememory. Deadline tells us that Mark Palansky will direct Rememory from a script he developed with writer Mike Vukadinovich.
The film “revolves around a brilliant professor who mysteriously dies on the eve of releasing his life-changing invention.” His wife, Carolyn who will be portrayed by Catherine O’Hara, discovers the device, which records and plays memories. Carolyn connects with an unlikely friend played by Dinklage, and uses the invention to get to the bottom of the mystery of her husbands death.
This is not the first time the acting pair has collaborated with Palansky. In 2006 they worked on Penelope which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival the same year. Palansky and Vukadinovich are also developing a film called Pete And Goat which would star Amanda Seyfried (Red Riding Hood, In Time) and Anton Yelchin (Star Trek, Terminator Salvation).
And, recently seen in The Hunger Games as Caesar Flickerman, Stanley Tucci will be joining the cast of Your Voice In My Head. Variety reports that Tucci will be the “voice” heard by Emma Watson’s Emma Forrest character. Your Voice In My Head is about a self-destructive writer who is struggling with her personal issues. She then embarks on the difficult road to recovery after her therapist abruptly dies. For more on Your Voice In My Head check out the Want More Emma Watson? article.
It is safe to say that Tucci is a veteran actor at this point. Having started on Broadway in 1982 and working consistently since then, the actor has played a wide array of characters and roles. Tucci has supplied his voice talents to films such as The Tale of Despereaux and Space Chimps. Though it seems the actor doesn’t make a habit of participating in voice work. Tucci will not only be the “voice” for Emma Forrest, but will ultimately portray the terminally ill psychiatrist in the film – a part which George Clooney was reportedly initially interested in. The green light still hasn’t been made official but with the likes of Tucci on board, Warner Bros. has to give its backing to the film.
Two very notable actors making their dent in the Hollywood scene. Watch for Your Voice In My Head which is hoping for a release date sometime in 2013, and Rememory which is still in the early stages of development. No release date or pre-production dates have been confirmed for Rememory but it certainly sounds as though its a go!
