Hunger Games Star Jennifer Lawrence in House at the End of the Street Trailer

Some thought Jennifer Lawrence too pretty to play Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, but the film took home $155 million in the end! Now it is time to get a load of Miss Jennifer Lawrence’s next film role. We have the taught trailer for The House at the End of the Street. And you know what? It is probably okay to confuse it just a little with 2009′s Last House on the Left. Both deliver horror.
Director Mark Tonderai was also being Hush, the a British horror/ thriller. House at the End of the Street also stars Elisabeth Shue and Max Thieriot. The film makes its debut September 21, 2012.
I love Jennifer Lawrence, but she seems to be used here as a classic horror chick, all blonde and busty, running around in skimpy clothes. Still, I’m betting she’ll bring believability to her role because she always does.
The plot revolves around Sarah (Shue) and her daughter Elissa (Lawrence), in the aftermath of a divorce from Elissa’s father. Starting a new life of their own, mother and daughter find the house of their dreams to move into. Or do they? It seems like a classy bit of real estate for such a small town, but the “unexplainable” leading them to uncover a gruesome past linked to the House and the End of the Street.
