Kristen Stewart’s Breaking Dawn Pop Ready for Revolution

There are some big shake-ups going on during the production of NBC’s drama pilot, Revolution, which includes Kristen Stewart’s Twilight dad among the cast. Billy Burke, who will be appearing in the final Twlight film, Breaking Dawn Part 2, was given a supporting role in J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke’s Revolution. However, that part is now being recast. But fret not Billy Burke fans! He will still be a part of the cast. In fact, he’s taking over as the lead.

According to Deadline, Burke originally had the role of Bass, a charismatic Marine. When the search for an actor to play the lead role of Miles, an amazingly resourceful man with a dark and dangerous side, didn’t yield any results (and production on the pilot having already begun), it was decided Burke would be playing Miles. A new deal is being made up for Burke and Bass is being recast. Let’s just hope they don’t have any problems finding a new Bass!

Revolution, which is being directed by Iron Man director Jon Favreau, is a high-octane action drama following a group of people struggling to survive and reunite with their loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist. This pilot is on my list of pilots to watch. I will be severely disappointed if it’s not ordered to series. That’s probably just my Abrams/Kripke crush talking. For all I know this could be a steaming pile of crap. Fingers crossed.

   Really like your site ….just discovered it thru IMDB search on Jon Favreau. As a “fellow M.O.T.” I totally dig his work. I ran into him at a local ACE Hardware Store in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. He’s in town shooting a pilot whiich turns out to be “Pilot”. How long have they been in production? And would you know where there actually filming?
