Maroon 5 Voice in American Horror Story Season 2

American Horror Story FX

American Horror Story is branching out from regular actors in order to secure the Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine. He’s a valuable commodity right now, thanks to his gig on NBC’s reality series, The Voice, where he is one of the coaches. He has entered final negotiations for a part on the upcoming, top-secret second season of American Horror Story, but good luck trying to figure out what kind of purpose his role will have in the overall story of the season.

According to EW.com, Levine’s first acting role will see him playing a contemporary character and will be one half of a couple known as “The Lovers.” Because of the mysterious nature of Season 2, it’s hard to even begin to guess how Levine’s character will play into… well anything. We barely even know where this season will take place (all we’ve been told is it will be on the east coast and will feature a horror institution); let alone what the story or themes will be. All I can really say for sure is it likely won’t feature any ghosts. That concept was pretty much used up in the first season.

In order to appear on the show, production will have to shoot around Levin’s summer tour schedule. This season of American Horror Story brings back Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Lily Rabe, with all of them portraying brand new characters.

About Brody Gibson

+Brody Gibson studied film in Vancouver, BC. I originally intended to become a video editor, but realized I have a passion for writing. To say I love television is a bit of an understatement. I watch it religiously, think about it constantly. To be able to talk about it is one the best things in the world. Combining that with my love of writing gives me the opportunity to express my opinions to the Internet masses and start gripping conversations.
