This is hot…in a geeky sort of way. Then again, even you non-comic book nerds out there can appreciate a sexy sandwich made up of hotties, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner. Hey, no fair, in today’s special German film poster for the upcoming action spectacular, Marvel Studios’ The Avengers, The Hulk is depicted twice!

Of course the first image is of the big green bruiser and then beside him, in his shadow, is Dr. Bruce Banner, acted by Mark Ruffalo. Ruffalo has some shoes to fill. There were some who would have preferred to see actor Edward Norton reprise that role.

You know what? Iron Man actor Robert Downey, Jr. qualifies as a hottie, too. I much prefer his clean cut Tony Stark look to his shaggy Sherlock Holmes persona. That’s just me. And Downey also looks more like his comic book alter ego than any other actor in history, if you ask me. And to be fair, Nick Fury actor, Samuel L. Jackson brings style to any role he tackles. Rock on, director Fury!

From what I can tell, Germany may be getting a look at The Avengers, come 26 April, but as for we in the U.S.A. the special day is May 4th.
