The Apparition Trailer and Poster Featuring Twilight’s Ashley Greene

We get our initial trailer of  The Apparition, a horror film that we last talked to you about way back in January of 2010 when we told you that Ashley Greene and Sebastian Shaw had been cast in it. We now have what’s being called a new trailer and poster, but for some reason I want to say I’ve seen this poster before (or it’s very similar to another?). Looking at the trailer, and admitting some notable recent successes (Paranormal Activity etc) I’m a bit hesitant or  just have had my fill on the found footage element. I am, however, always open to more Ashley Greene.

The Apparition hits theaters on August 24th.

Here is The Apparition synopsis:

When frightening events start to occur in their home, young couple Kelly (Ashley Greene) and Ben (Sebastian Stan) discover they are being haunted by a presence that was accidentally conjured during a university parapsychology experiment. The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them no matter where they try to run. Their last hope is an expert in the supernatural (Tom Felton), but even with his help they may already be too late to save themselves from this terrifying force…
