Emma Watson Got That Sofia Coppola Bling Ring – Images

Back in March we told you that Emma Watson had been cast in Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring, a film based on the teenage “gang” of delinquents that famously targeted (and rather easily) robbed several celebrity homes, including that of Paris Hilton (whose home reportedly got hit several times), Lindsay Lohan, Megan Fox, and Rachel Bilson  - in the process of stealing millions of dollars worth cash, clothes, jewelry and such.

A film based on these clowns would be a tough sell for me, but I have to admit that  there’s something about Sofia Coppola’s involvement in a film that tends to class up the proceedings even if it doesn’t end up delivering in the end. Coppola didn’t waste much time casting the actress who might be the absolute ideal at the moment for a  role asking for a young fashionable lead (who I think can also act – I like Emma Watson).  We now have two images, one via EW and the other The Playlist, offering us the first looks at The Bling Ring. Joining Watson and rounding out the cast are Israel Broussard, Taissa Farmiga (who you might have caught on FX’s American Horror Story), Katie Chang, Claire Pfister, Georgia Rock and Carlos Miranda, and  Leslie Mann.

Speaking of Paris Hilton, she will be making a cameo in The Bling Ring, along with Kirsten Dunst and Gavin Rossdale.
