Via FOX we have what are actually two sets of promo images for The Following, a midseason show starring Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy. You may have heard about the show called The Mastermind being developed, well, this is it with a fresh new title. It’s still the same concept we told you about earlier though, brought to us by (most recently) the showrunner of CW’s The Vampire Diaries (not to mention writing Scream, and writing and creating/co-creating Dawson’s Creek, Secret Circle).

The Following is a serial killer hunt show that also features Justified’s Natalea Zea, LOST’S Maggie Grace, and Shawn Ashmore (from the X-Men films). The two batches of images featured include a character gallery of the cast as well as another group showing images of Bacon, Purefoy, and Ashmore from the show itself. Interestingly, Maggie Grace has also recently locked up an extended role on Californication, one which that had whispers of being a possible spin-off vehicle for her at Showtime. So off jump I kind of wonder how long Grace’s tenure might be on The Following if it becomes a hit.
