True Blood Werewolf Joins Lindsay Lohan for Lifetime

After Lindsay Lohan reportedly beat out Megan Fox for the role of Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime original movie, Liz & Dick, the network then set out to find its Richard Burton, and has now landed him via former True Blood werewolf and biker gang leader, Cooter. Deadline reports that the decision came down to seeing the chemistry “erupt” between Bowler and Lohan during Bowler’s audition.

The casting of Bowler occurs only days  (June 4th) before shooting is set to begin.  Besides True Blood, viewers might recall Bowler’s short stint in LOST as the captain of Kahana freighter. He’s also set to star in Syfy’s upcoming Defiance, which also features Julie Benz, Fionnula Flanagan, and Mia Kirshner.
